2026 team sponsorship
Official Rules
Effective version: rules-v5
Sponsor and effective date
The Unitus Team Sponsorship Challenge is sponsored by Kingdom Enterprises Worldwide, LLC, doing business as Unitus, 5605 77 Center Drive, Suite 101, Charlotte, North Carolina 28217 (Sponsor). These Official Rules are effective August 22, 2026.
No purchase is necessary. A purchase will not improve a team's eligibility, drawing odds, or judged-selection score. The campaign is void where prohibited.
Campaign period
Registration opens August 22, 2026 at 9:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time and Arizona time. Team and supporter activity closes September 21, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Daylight Time and Arizona time. Team stories requested by Unitus are due September 24, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Daylight Time and Arizona time.
Unitus expects to conduct the drawing and judging on or about September 28, 2026 and begin notifying selected teams on or about September 29, 2026. Unitus may adjust these administrative dates when reasonably necessary and will publish a revised Rules version if a material participant deadline changes.
Eligibility
The campaign is open to basketball teams based in the 50 United States or Washington, DC. A team may be associated with a school, club, league, nonprofit program, training program, college, university, or another organized basketball program, subject to Unitus review and any institutional or governing-body requirements.
A team representative and each supporter must be a legal resident of the 50 United States or Washington, DC and at least 18 years old when participating. A representative must be authorized to act for the team. Selected teams must obtain any school, league, governing-body, parent, guardian, or other approval required before accepting products or permitting publicity.
Sponsor employees, campaign administrators, judges, and members of their immediate households may not participate as representatives or supporters. Unitus may reject a submission that is ineligible, incomplete, misleading, fraudulent, duplicative, automated, abusive, or inconsistent with these Rules.
How to participate
An adult representative submits one registration for the team, confirms the required campaign terms, and verifies the representative email address. Unitus reviews the registration before approving the team and issuing its stable supporter link.
An adult supporter uses the approved team's link, submits one allocation, confirms the required campaign terms, and verifies the supporter email address. A submission counts only after verification and Unitus review. One person may support only one team. Duplicate, invalid, automated, or otherwise ineligible activity does not count and may be removed.
Unitus may request a fuller team story and eligibility information from teams in either selection track. Teams remain responsible for accurate information and timely responses.
Selection
Five different teams will be selected. Two teams will be chosen by equal-probability random drawing from fully eligible teams that reach at least 50 verified and reviewed supporters and complete all requested eligibility steps. The odds depend on the number of eligible teams in that drawing pool.
Unitus will select three additional teams through judged review. Teams below 50 verified supporters may still be considered. Judges will score independently using: alignment with the Unitus faith and community mission, 30%; strength and specificity of the team story, 25%; potential impact on team culture and season, 20%; representative readiness and organizational fit, 15%; and portfolio balance across geography, level, and category, 10%.
A judged-score tie is resolved first by the higher faith-and-community score, then by the higher team-story score, and then by a recorded random tie-break if still tied. Judges and administrators must disclose conflicts and recuse themselves when appropriate. A team selected in the drawing cannot also receive a judged selection.
Sponsorship award
Each selected team may receive up to 15 pairs of Unitus footwear, including any staff pairs, from the Judah 1, Judah 1 Low, and Judah 2 lines. Models, colors, and sizes are subject to available inventory. Across five teams, the maximum award is 75 pairs.
The maximum approximate retail value is $2,250 per selected team and $11,250 total, based on a maximum value of $150 per pair. Unitus pays standard shipping to one deliverable address in the 50 United States or Washington, DC.
Awards are not transferable and have no cash alternative. If inventory is unavailable, Unitus may substitute footwear of equal or greater approximate retail value. Selected teams are responsible for any taxes, reporting, institutional approvals, and distribution to team members. Size corrections or exchanges depend on available inventory and Unitus's written fulfillment instructions.
Notification, acceptance, and alternates
Unitus will contact a selected team's verified representative using the campaign contact information. Selection remains subject to final eligibility review, timely acceptance, requested tax or institutional documentation, and any appropriate publicity or content permission.
A team may lose the selection if it cannot be contacted, does not respond by the stated deadline, declines, fails eligibility review, provides false information, interferes with the campaign, or cannot lawfully accept the award. Unitus may then select an alternate using the same selection track and method.
Administration and changes
Unitus may verify participation, correct counts, merge duplicate team records, remove invalid support, suspend suspicious activity, and require supporting information. Decisions about eligibility, review, counting, judging, and administration are final to the extent permitted by law.
If fraud, technical failure, disaster, inventory disruption, legal restriction, or another event outside Unitus's reasonable control materially affects the campaign, Unitus may suspend, modify, or cancel it and will publish an updated Rules version when practicable. Unitus will not use a change to create a purchase advantage or increase drawing odds for one team.
Privacy, law, and contact
Submitting a team registration or supporter allocation requires the conspicuous campaign-administration agreement shown next to the submit action. It covers transactional verification and campaign-administration messages needed to operate participation. Promotional email is optional and requires the separate marketing checkbox. A person may unsubscribe from promotional email at any time; transactional messages needed to administer participation may still be sent.
These Rules are governed by Florida law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are also subject to the applicable dispute provisions in the Unitus Terms of Service. To the extent a dispute is not subject to those procedures, the parties submit to the state courts in Orange County, Florida and the applicable federal courts.
